Driving ban for HGVs over 7.5 t GVW travelling from Belgium or Germany to France, from 21:30 on Saturday or the eve of a public holiday until 21:45 on Sunday or the public holiday. For the aforementioned HGVs travelling from Belgium or France to Germany, on the aforementioned days from 23:30 to 21:45. The driving ban applies to the entire road network.
Public holidays affected by the driving ban: 1 January, 6 April (Easter Monday), 1 and 14 May (Ascension Day), 25 May (Whit Monday), 15 August (Assumption of Mary), 1 November (All Saints' Day), 25 December
In addition to the official public holidays, the driving bans also apply on 14 July and 11 November for the aforementioned vehicles travelling towards France and on 3 April (Good Friday), 4 June (Corpus Christi), 15 August (Assumption of Mary), 3 October and 26 December for HGVs towards Germany. Although 23 June is an official public holiday in Luxembourg, there are no driving bans on that day.
