Driving bans for trucks over 7.5 t GVW in the period from 1 July to 31 August from Saturdays 15:00 to Sundays 22:00 and from 22:00 on the eve of a public holiday to 22:00 on the public holiday itself. If the public holiday falls on the day before a Saturday or Sunday, the driving ban begins on the preceding day at 08:00.
From 1 September to 30 June, a driving ban applies for trucks over 7.5 t GVW from 22:00 on Saturdays or on the eve of a public holiday to 22:00 on the Sunday or the public holiday itself. If a public holiday falls on a Sunday, the driving ban begins on Saturday already at 08:00.
The driving ban on the Hungarian National Holiday (15 March) has been extended. It now applies from 22:00 on 11 March to 22:00 on 15 March for trucks over 7.5 tonnes in domestic and international transport. However, a 10-hour window (from 22:00 on 14 March to 08:00 on 15 March) has been set up during which transports can be carried out without restrictions.

Driving bans for trucks over 7.5 t GVW from July 1 to August 31 from Saturdays 3:00 p.m. to Sundays 10:00 p.m., and from 10:00 p.m. on the eve of a public holiday to 10:00 p.m. on the public holiday itself. If the public holiday falls on the day before a Saturday or Sunday, the driving ban begins on the previous day as early as 8:00 a.m.
From September 1 to June 30, a driving ban applies to trucks over 7.5 t GVW from 10:00 p.m. on Saturdays or on the eve of a public holiday until 10:00 p.m. on Sunday or the public holiday itself. If a public holiday falls on a Sunday, the driving ban begins on Saturday as early as 8:00 a.m.
The driving ban on the Hungarian national holiday (March 15) has been extended. It now applies from March 11, 10:00 p.m. to March 15, 10:00 p.m. for trucks over 7.5 tonnes in domestic and international traffic. However, a 10-hour window has been introduced (from March 14, 10:00 p.m. to March 15, 8:00 a.m.) during which transports can be carried out without restrictions.
