There are no general driving bans. However, for HGVs over 5 t GVW, a driving ban applies on the access roads and bridges of Riga from Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 10:00 and 16:00 to 19:00. The affected routes are: Akmens Bridge (Akmens tilts), 11 Novembra krastmala Street, Krasta Street from the Salu Bridge (Salu tilts) to the Vanshu Bridge, as well as all streets that branch off from Akmens Bridge.
In addition, a driving ban for HGVs over 5 t GVW applies from Monday to Friday between 16:00 and 19:00 on the following streets: Makusala, Akmenu, Jelgavas, Vienibas gatve, Valguma, Ranka dambja, and Daugavgrivas.
2025:
There are no general driving bans. However, for trucks over 5 t GVW, a driving ban applies on Riga’s access roads and bridges from Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 10:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00. The following routes are affected: Akmens Bridge (Akmens tilts), 11 Novembra ¬krastmala Street, Krasta Street from the Salu Bridge (Salu tilts) to the Vanshu Bridge, as well as all streets that lead off Akmens ¬Bridge.
